Welcome to California and our brief overview of The Golden State.

California is one of three states located on the west coast of the 48 "conterminous" states. In size, it is the third largest state and the largest of the Pacific coast states. It is bordered by Oregon on the north and shares an international border with Mexico on the south. On the east, California is bordered by Nevada and Arizona.
